“MAN2017: Europe talks on masculinity”
June 5-7, 2017, Belgrade, Serbia
Hotel Radisson Blu Old Mill
“MAN2017: Europe talks on masculinity” is a seventh annual expert conference organized by Center E8 together in cooperation with Promundo – a global leader in promoting gender justice and preventing violence by engaging men and boys in partnership with women and girls. Being already recognized as one of most prominent conferences of its kind in Serbia and in Balkan region, this year’s MAN conference is being organized on European, as well as on international level.
The conference brings together experts who, in their respective fields, work on issues of gender, gender equality, violence prevention and promotion of positive social values and changes, especially among the youth. During the seven years of it being organized, the conference has become a platform for exchange of views and experiences of experts, at the national, regional but also at broader, international level. This three-day event is designed to provide opportunities for learning and advancement of knowledge of youth workers, activists and professionals who use the knowledge of feminist and critical theories of masculinity in their work.
